Hi, I’m Carsten, an arts and media manager and process facilitator. I accompany cultural institutions and public sector organizations in developing projects and working together in an increasingly digital environment.
I studied Music and Arts and Media Administration, combining an artistic education with formal training in cultural management. For more than 15 years I have worked in arts and media management with a focus on music and on the meeting point of art, culture and digital media.
My experience ranges from classical cultural management – organising concerts, festivals and cross-disciplinary events – to designing and running digital projects and hybrid formats. I develop concepts, facilitate workshops and meetings, accompany teams through change processes and bring together artists, staff, audiences, politics and funders. I have worked for state institutions, publicly funded cultural organisations and international companies such as Google.
Currently I mainly accompany organisations in questions of arts management, digital projects and cooperation, bringing creative problem solving and facilitation to complex collaboration processes. I’m a certified New Work Facilitator and Workshop/Design Sprint Facilitator and I offer workshops and leadership seminars.
